HMS Caprice with Japanese commander of Bintan Island
Here we see Major Fugita, the commanding officer of Japanese Forces on Bintan Island (just to the south of Singapore) being carried back to Singapore on the C class destroyer HMS Caprice to surrender after the end of the war.
